Gumpoldskirchner Royal Sparkling Wine

Category:

The cuvée consists of the two autochthonous grape varieties typical of Gumpoldskirchen, Zierfandler (synonym late red) and Rotgipfler. Both varieties thrive on the fossil limestone soils of the former bay around Gumpoldskirchen.

The Zierfandler is a late-ripening variety. It produces extract-rich wines with a delicate, noble aroma and fruity acidity. The aroma shows a variety of citrus fruits, mainly pineapple and passion fruit tones. The Rotgipfler is characterized by its golden yellow color, its significant fragrance and a fruity, concise aroma. The taste is usually full and harmonious, due to the high extract and alcohol content.

As a cuveé, the two varieties under the name Spätrot-Rotgipfler result in an aromatic, full-bodied sparkling wine with good shelf life. A sparkling wine for connoisseurs and connoisseurs who are looking for something special. The fine fruitiness, the high extract, combined with a harmonious acidity on the palate make it the ideal accompaniment to the modern kitchen.
