Brut Excellent

Category:

Vintage sparkling wine brut, Grüner Veltliner. Our top class sparkling wine. For everyone who wants more from a sparkling wine – fine and balanced, delicately scented, dry and extremely digestible.

The extra dark bottle protects the noble contents – the gold embossed label gives the top product the appropriate elegance.

The base wine for this Austrian specialty consists of 100% of the “Grüner Veltliner” variety, mainly grown on loess soils in the north-eastern part of the Weinviertel. As tingling as the produce of this landscape may be, it is as gentle as it is – with soft hills and cellar alleys that have been drawn out from the villages. The cellar tubes dug deep into the loess are still unsurpassed for the natural maturation of the wine. The northern border of the Weinviertel is marked by the limestone cliffs of Staatz and Falkenstein, a benchmark for fruity white wines.

The taste of the “Grüner Veltliner” variety is a mix of fruit (apple and pineapple) and peppery spice with a broad spectrum. This excellent sparkling wine should be served at a temperature below 6 degrees and should be drunk as fresh as possible.

For the few who demand more – fine and balanced, delicately scented, dry and extremely digestible. The bouquet of Brut Excellent unfolds best in a tulip-shaped champagne glass that converges almost imperceptibly at the top.
